Coordinator Commentary bugged?

Just started playing an offline franchise. Turned the Coordinator commentary on, just to see how it worked. It really doesn't seem to work. I get the subtitles down below and the only time I hear it is when I have an interception or recover a fumble. It starts as soon as I get my hands on the ball, just after that slight pause. The things is too, is that it starts off like I'm just coming up to the line of scrimmage after I break the huddle.

Also, after the opening kickoff, the only time I hear Gus and Chris is when there's a question on whether a catch was made inbounds, or they bring out the chains to measure for a first down. (Although this might not be a bad thing. )

Any thoughts? Thanks

I don't think you're experiencing a bug. Those long pauses of silence and repeated phrases are just how it is. It's my opinion that "Coordinator Audio" is just a fad, something someone asked for in a meeting so they could put it on the box. Remember how Madden has the reputation of educating people about football? I think Coordinator Audio is aimed directly at that target. It's not executed well enough to be useful other than for relative newcomers as a teaching tool and after a few games you notice that it's all canned and limited in its options.

Wait till you try Superstar Mode where you can't even disable the coordinator if you wanted to.
