trade question?? Please Help!

I just finished my first 32 team controlled season! The vikings own the first pick and im curious what everyones opinion is. Im not 100% sure the vikings would draft Luck, because they just drafted Ponder. Ponder looks like he is going to turn into a decent to good quarterback he is now an 84 with a potential. I have 3 trade offers in mind 1) the colts offer Manning and their pick which is 5th in the draft and their 2nd round pick as well. 2) The broncos offer the #2 pick Von Miller D Thomas and an offensive linemean... This fills 3 holes for minnesota and they still have the #2 pick. Or in a surprise the Chargers who in my season made the playoffs but lost again I fired Norv Turner and Vincent Jackson is testing the free agency they offer their pick #20 a 2nd rd pick and Phillip Rivers for the #1 pick of the draft. also minnesota could keep the pick and take luck and trade Ponder or keep him as a back up... Please help me think this through.

Just for the record i have no vested interest in this trade as i am the Titans so im not cheesing im really trying to see if another team in my madden will move up to take the coveted QB

I think the Peyton deal being just Manning and their 1st round pick is realistic. Manning still has a good 4 years in him and adding a second rounder with the colts is too much IMO

I'd trade with Denver. IMO, that would be the most realistic scenario in this case.

Broncos get:
Minnesota 1st overall pick

Vikings get:
Denver 2nd overall pick
Denver 2013 1st round pick
WR Eddie Royal

That might seem like a steep price considering they are only trading up one spot, but in this scenario with Andrew Luck coming out, that's what I think it would cost and I could see Denver paying dearly to get him. Eddie Royal would make a lot more sense than Von Miller. I don't think there is any way they trade Miller. You would have to do something with Tebow, and I could see a team like Miami trading a 3rd or 4th round pick to get him.

The problem with Manning is that to the Colts he is still one of the most valuable players in the game, but to most everyone else, he's a huge gamble with a high risk of injury. I really have no idea what they will do with him IRL, or what he might fetch in return. If I had to guess, I'd say Manning + 5th overall pick + 2nd round pick for Minnesota's 1st overall pick and a conditional future draft pick. That being said, would Minnesota stunt Ponder's growth by sending him back to the bench? I highly doubt they would trade him either.

I don't see SD getting rid of Rivers anytime soon.

I could see Miami, KC, Seattle, Washington, or even Cleveland trading up to get Luck.

I never really judge a player by their Overall rating. I start my 73 rookie QB over 82 Tim Tebow because the rookie has better accuracy and awareness (I play coach mode so it matters)


In real life as for as QB situations go, I think Colts or Dolphins could get him. I'd like to say Redskins but they never get QB's from drafts. That's their problem. Getting these old scrubs from FA each year. Who the hell is in their scouting team??? geez louise
