For a lot of guys I know, interest in Madden has a direct correlation to how their favorite team is doing in the NFL.

I usually swapped between Madden and NCAA throughout the year for this reason.

I think it does the opposite. Why else are there so many Browns & Raiders fans playing Madden!?! Seriously, every online league I'm in there seems to be 3 or more of each, lol. I think they like to take Madden and build their favorite the way they wish it was in real life..
