I highly doubt it...
I also don't think Tebow is that good, even in the 4th Quarter. Granted he is a great leader, optimist, and can do just enough to keep his team in the game. You do have to remember Prater has a boot and he has had some help from his teamates and especially the defense. But like I said, he does do a good enough job of keeping his team in it when the other team plays mediocre.

I like the leadership/motivator/will type angle here. It could help the oposite end of the spectrum too: ala the TO's and Santonio Holmes of the world that can be cancerous to a locker room.

Re: Will Tebow force a ratings overhaul?

i think madden 12 can easily replicate tebow, just that madden AI cant call the plays the broncos actually use since we are always a yr behind in terms of the team gameplan...

i would give him a high clutch, good confidence, in terms of RB skillz he is an avg runner, but tough to tackle and wont slide, but he is not shifty or elusive....

as a QB he is oblivious in the pocket, forces passes into traffic and runs often-ish...

we dont need anything new to represent him

Hardly see them overhauling the ratings system for a player who sucks.

I think this would really add some interesting dynamics both to the passing game on the field and to evaluating QBs in the front office.

That's always a good thing if they can get it right.

Wow!! thanks for the deep insight and analysis...

although the current ratings system is lacking and way behind the times, Its good enough to rate Tebow or any other young inexperienced QB without major changes.

On top of that, make awareness tie in to how many reads the QB can make (if it doesn't do that already) and you're set to go. So a 60 AWR for a QB means he stares down routes.
Would be interesting if they had a "Progression" rating. The higher the rating the more WRs you could identify during a play. Say you have to choose a receiver or are given the first read for the play. If you have a low rating your QB only has that guy to throw to, but if your QB has a very high rating, he can see the 2nd, 3rd, etc. WR through the play.

Of course, this would never happen. Madden is aimed at the casual crowd and this would never fly because it would be too difficult for first time users to pick up the game and play (main audience).

This was the fun thing about the vision cone though and it got removed.. You pick a QB to develop in the 6th round and guess what - he only has a small area to throw accurately towards, but Peyton can see damn near the whole field.

It needs to go back to that way, honestly.
