Pause, hitch, glitch, lag when ball is hiked (in offline games)?
In Madden (and NCAA all of the sudden), I'm experiencing these strange glitchy pauses whenever hiking the ball during offline games. For about a second or two, there will be a pause, then some choppy animation (during which time my CPU players don't do anything, nor can I control my players), and when everything catches back up, I'll either be sacked or have my run blown up.
Has anybody else experienced this or might anybody any idea what might be going on?
I've tried playing with the game installed, with the game not installed, and on four configurations of two separate systems and hard drives.
The weird thing about this is that it doesn't happen right away. It will happen maybe every 10-15 plays, then increase until by the 3rd or 4th quarter it's happening on roughly 80% of the plays.
EA support has no idea. Any help would be much appreciated. A season in an online dynasty is heading down the tubes fast because we have a no-restart policy and my games have been unplayable.
