Madden 13- A make or break year

Every year this thread comes up. I don't think EA's football title will ever have a make or break year.

I think it depends on the renewel of the nfl contract. I just hope its not all based on kinect and move cause im sure it will be broke for a few years.

It's definitely make or break for me. If M13 does not deliver the NFL experience I expect, I am done with Madden on these consoles.

I just went and watched a video of NFL Blitz and was disgusted at the realization that the field scaling, skating and those ridiculously deep QB dropbacks and uncalled rollouts, while somewhat exaggerated in that game, are still eerily similar to Madden, an alleged simulation. Not to mention, unless I am just sleepy, the players in NFL Blitz seem to actually be more "alive" presnap than Madden's.

Exactly. As long as football is doing well. Madden will do well enough, but then again you never know.

I honestly feel Madden 13 will be a good game. Im really liking the new team they put together for the madden franchise.

Instead of it bieng a make or break sitaution. Its going to be the start of something special.

For me it will, don't know about business wise though. There will be some things that I will be looking for in MADDEN13.

1) Doubleteam pass blocking
2) Fighting for the ball between WR/CB, better interactions
3) Offensive and Defensive Pass interference
4) Halftime Show and better overall stats presentation
5) Better blocking and OL/DL interactions

All they have too do is add more animations with a lot of these and better overall polish. With almost 8 years on the console, these things are fundamentals of football. If they don't have these things, then why should I waste my $60 when honestly it's just Madden12.5. Hopefully with the doubling of the gameplay staff, they realize this and this is there goal. I'm not buying into there marketing stuff, so they have too show me the results by gameplay videos and the demo.
