How to have RB's split carries in franchise?

I am about to start a new franchise with the Patriots (AFC CHAMPIONS BABY!!!) and I need to know how in the world to have a RB by committee like we do in real life? How do adjust it so my gameplan automatically has Green Ellis, Woodhead, and Ridley split carries? Ive been wondering how to do this for weeks and its really been bugging me. I cant figure it out. Any help? Thanks!

Formation substitutions. When in game take advantage of the play clock in the beginning and put woodhead in shotgun, green Ellis in iform, Ridley in single back and so on

How do you get to that in-game? Do I have to edit my playbook or coaching scheme, or is it just used in-game? Thanks man!

While ingame in the Formations of plays press R1(For PS3) then select what player u want to sub in or out, I believe Xbox is RT (Please Correct Me if I'm Wrong) Don't have Xbox

its the right sholder button on Xbox (RB)

Back on PS2/Xbox one fix for sim stats was to go through the depth charts of the CPU teams and sub in the 2nd string HB for the FB for all the teams.

Not sure if things works on the current version of Madden but on Madden 2005 it was a part of the Manifesto, which made the game awesome in franchise.

Like others said formation subs is the way to get your team to split carries, or to manually sub guys out if key situation. For example, every long run put in the backup for a play or two.

Cheers. Just for a dumb guy like me: I press RB whilst the screen for selecting a specific play is open (i.e. the thing with all the different coloured arrows etc)?
