Does anyone else hate defensive assistance?

I'm talking about when you are controlling a defensive player and the computer takes control until you move your player. I usually play middle linebacker or safety, but sometimes I like to mix it up on the line and I can't stand how the computer makes me take my initial first step and usually puts me out of position to make a play. Maybe we can get an option to turn off cpu assistance completely?
