madden 13 halftime show

The Extra Point was gutted out because they didn't like it and they want to do it right. So, hopefully, this will show up this year.

I would only care for something like this in my online dynasty. I loved 2k5 and thought the halftime show was the best thing in sports videogaming, but in nba 2k i skip it every time. I love dynasty wire in ncaa(when people actually use it) and hope that at least makes it to madden. If EA could expand upon this in a highlight show or auto generated stories, i think that is a must have.

I was ecstatic when I heard a halftime show was in Madden 10.

But it was done so badly, and bare-boned, that I did skip it after 2 viewings. But it was a start, and I had hoped they'd expand on it. But they didn't.

I really wouldn't mind an in-depth halftime report/show. If done right, it could add life to the offline franchise. For example, if I'm in a playoff race, it'd be nice to know the scenarios needed to get in, as well as scores/highlights from those games affecting me.

Madden12 halftime show was terrible, because it wasn't even a show. Now from what they say at EA, they took it out too improve what the Extra Point was. Ok That was 2011, so they have had 2 years too improve on that. If they don't have something that resembles anything that's better than 2010 extra point or NFL2k5, then these guys are outright lying or don't have a clue too how presentation should be. We have a track record too prove it, so I'm not making anything up. This is what going too be my personel selling point for Madden13, so I hope they get this right with the new team. It's no excuses for the lack of presentation in a 2012 game and Madden has been lacking since next-gen.

Agreed a halftime show is a must for the over all presentation to be great. But really what we all play the game for is the 'game play' so I do believe glitches and realism on the game play should be priority. Get the gameplay as real as possible first. Then lets talk about all the glitter and sparkles!

Now I also think the fact that we don't have a real half time show/mode in 2012 when we had at least something back in 2005. Is kinda sad with how far everything else as come.

Halftime show is not my #1 request for Madden 13, but it's definitely top 10.

I would prefer they put in a halftime show after they focus on everything else. To me halftime show should come when they have dev time available but nothing else to work on. EA knows that after the first few times of watching it nearly everyone will skip it. There isn't anything they could put in the halftime show that would make me want to spend the time to watch it after the first few times. They could put Christina Aguilara dancing naked (actual video) and I would probably skip it after the first dozen times.
