bounty gate and the hitstick

Anybody else get the feeling that with the NFL being as hell bent as they are to represent a "clean" game in madden and with the impending sanctions as result of bounty gate that they might remove, or negate injuries from, the use of the hitstick? Or am I just being paranoid?

They could just rename it "Go for fumble"/"Tackle low" I guess. Doubt it'll impact madden 13 though

The NFL reviews most of the tackles in Madden.

Well with that in mind I really hope they will tone down the WWE style hits every other play and replace them with more organic wrap up tackles...

Re: bounty gate and the hitstick

Hit Stick= realistic if there was an inclusion of more missed tackles.

If you watch the NFL you see more missed tackles on big hits then actual big hits

The hit stick isn't a bounty stick. I rarely see guy hurt after using the hit stick. So in my opinion I don't see this effecting the game.

Big hits are a part of football and always will be. That's what the hit stick represents. It doesn't represent trying to twist Adrian Peterson's ankle under a pile after the play was dead. It doesn't represent trying to damage a player's career. It's about stopping the opposing player in their tracks, maybe causing a turnover, etc.

Well said. And to add to that it's also real simple if hit stick applies a legal hit that doesn't involve helmet to helmet contact they will not get rid of the hit stick based on the Bounty.
