I'm going to take the "wait and see" approach on this. I am not going to get all hyped up over what can potentially be just more of the same. I do hope I'm wrong though.

No information has come out on Madden, yet.

No one knows if Madden will mirror NCAA at this point, pure speculation and conjecture at this point.

If it's true and the enhanced sounds are included in Madden, we knew from E3 (last June) that Madden was receiving FIFA sound technology for 13. They said they didn't have time to implement the sound technology for Madden 12.

That is what they said.

If true, that enhanced sound better include commentary and cleaning that up. That was terrible last year.

Man, that would be a cool add to the game. Talk about separating the men from the boys.

The only thing I don't like is having to press Y to scroll to the receivers. I think it should just show up on the screen at the snap. Then you wouldn't have to go from face to stick to trigger. Just take the face buttons out of the equation.

What I was thinking was lowering the camera a bit. I liked the fish-eye idea that was posted a while back, so that you can see the whole field, then you can have something like a targeting system using the right stick to point to the area you want to throw to.

Edit: the more I type, the more it's starting to sound like a variance of the vision cone -- which I loved, but was pretty unpopular, lol.

It probably makes more sense to just streamline the passing system with route-based/max passing from 2K. Which would be accomplishing almost the same thing... guess I don't get to get rid of the face buttons after all.

I do like the idea of using a cursor/target to pinpoint parts of the field, because there are many offenses in the league based around the quarterback throwing to spots.

But snapping the ball, hitting a face button, then aiming with r-stick at a spot, then squeezing the trigger sounds like one step too many; and not ergonomic with the controller. Vision cone had it so that you could do it that way, but you could always bypass it and aim with the right stick.

EA does this every year, and all you guys who are overly excited, when the game comes out, you're the ones hurt the most because it's not what you expected lol. Let's expect the worse, that way if EA actually does come through this time, we can all be overly excited.
