I often feel the same way! I think it's a function of how differently I play it than the rest.

The thing is that its just not the people on this site that have raised the issue with the strip being over effective. It ranges from the most hardcore sim players to the most freestyle players. There are videos of Truth (the madden pro) essentially saying that the strip button is entirely to effective this year, along with other things. However it doesn't seem to matter what everyone else in the community seems to experience you always seem to say that it isn't the game's problem but the user. When someone who has the user ability to win sizable sums of money playing this game says that its overpowered then how can it still be the user's fault?

Truth (aka Dan Brown) is a user with his own thoughts and opinions. He's entitled to them, same as the rest of us.

That said, I have unpublished film that demonstrates why the strip tackle is a gamble... If I were to put together a video with only broken tackles and failed strip attempts, I'm sure I could convince people that the Strip tackle isn't as effective as Truth makes it seem in his videos where the Strip tackle seems overly effective (but I won't).

Sprinting into a tackler attempting a strip and releasing SPRINT and initiating "COVER BALL" just before contact tends to negate the strip tackle's effectiveness at ripping the ball out. Furthermore, initiating a Highlight Stick move that leans into a player attempting a strip WHILE covering the ball tends to drag and/or break tackle attempts more regularly. Once a player is in the grasp of a tackler ripping at the ball, pumping the SPRINT button seems to make tackles less successful. Of course - the user must engage the buttons to counter the strip action of defenders.

Alas, the user is still center stage.
