NCAA and Madden are made in the same studio, correct? Why can't they share technology

I mean last year NCAA introduce a trajectory system that allowed you to hold LT in order to put some touch on throws. Every year one of the games get an amazing gameplay mechanic that does not appear in the other. Just saw the GTTV video where no more psychic DBs, how you can't throw across your body and be accurate, among other things. I am thinking to myself, how many of these mechanics will not show up in Madden...and why not

Most game play ideas are shared with the same technologies. ie, zone defense last year.

We need to see if some of these will be in Madden. NCAA has the opportunity to share their news first, because the game is released before Madden.

Madden will have it's day of news sharing soon enough.

For the most part, I think they share a lot of the same technology, but at the same time I think they want to have somewhat different game play. They dont want the college game to feel like an NFL game and vice versa.

they share the same technology, the core game for both is identical, there are just some differences that gives a college football feel as suppose to a NFL feel.
