Connected Careers Thoughts & Theories?

Hmmm.
As a franchise freak, this one is intriguing to me.

all i can think of is that it somehow weaves superstar, franchise and head coach all into one seamless experience.
How they would do that Ihave no idea.

Thoughts?

Well probably the same way FIFA has been doing it. Its just a career mode where you can choose how you want to play each game, as a single player or as the team.

I'm thinking even more in depth, combining Road to Glory and Dynasty in the same mode. FIFA doesn't change all that much between coach and player, but we'll see. Also, Gameface is in so I'm guessing there will be a huge focus on playing as a singular player

My guess (and hope) is that, like you have already said, it combines superstar and franchise and has full online function. I would be great to have a full featured online franchise, or even play superstar with some friends.

Superstar with friends would be cool (well, I imagine it would be cool; I never played the mode lol)

i heard on pastapadre it has to do with like crossing the paths between coach and nfl legends.

They’ll now also be a part of the Connected Careers mode which was mentioned but only vaguely described earlier today. Interestingly a coach is being paired with a player suggesting more to the mode than just the simple Superstar setup or recreation of highlights from a legend’s playing days.


sounds me like its gonna let u use HOF players and coaches.

Whatever is I hope they finally combine online/offline franchise into one mode that can be played and accessed over the internet if you want.

I really like everything I have seen so far and it seems I will actually have a shot at enjoying Madden 13 for more than 2-3 months. However, failing to weave all this "new" stuff seamlessly into an online career mode with an option foe multiple Users, would be a HUGE disappointment.

Don't you f'n do it EA/Tiburon!
