Has anyone heard anything about route based passing being implemented in madden 13?

Well timing is more important this year and receivers can't catch until their looking for the ball...

also along the lines with that, receivers who are running longer routes will take a while before the receiver option for that receiver becomes available. For example, a receiver's icon running a post route won't become available in the beginning like say a receiver running a slat route

I don't remember if it was in the Madden or NCAA playbook, but one of the devs said that this year the qb drop back would be in sync with the receivers routes, so I'd say that there's RBP now (pay no attention to what your OL is doing though lol)

I don't recall. The major features I remember were offline franchise upgrades and no more suction blocking.
