Intimate Gaming- Top 100 Match- Episode 3

This thread will be dedicated to Episode 3 of my Intimate Gaming series.

In this match I use the Dolphins again, I love their defense and haven't used them much in Madden '12 so they are refreshing. My opponent has the Bucs, he is a legit top 150 player who decided to match-up in terms of team ratings.

I know this isn't as sim as some of you would like and I can point out my own non-sim flaws, but like already established, that isn't exactly how I play. I look forward to your comments, as always! Hope you enjoy. If you have a youtube account, you can help me out by subscribing. Much appreciated.

Looked like a good game. There were some clips in there that really illustrates some of the issue with Madden (not things that you could have changed or effected, just some broken/missing things that seem basic enough.)

Thanks for watching man. Yeah sometimes Madden really stretches your patience to the max. No matter how hard a user can try to defend broken plays, some always seem to work.

One of the plays that sticks in my mind and really drives me crazy is when (if I remember right) you were only rushing three, and his QB moves up in the pocket. Your tackle is literally inches away from him, facing the sideline, and engaged in the blocking animation - this would be the point where an actual DL would have reached at him and probably gotten the sack.

Anyhow, I always play as Dallas and sometimes I have issues behind their OL. If you wouldn't mind, would you run a game as Dallas so I could see how that goes?

forsure, i would love to see u play with my bears. they are kind of horrible offensively but they have nice defense. use them well.

Propers for what was a much more enjoyable experience to watch, imo. Seeing two people playing reasonably free of blatant exploits in Madden offers a much more rewarding experience and makes a spectator like me actually want to play the game after watching, not avoid it like the plague.

That said, the zig-zag running and ability to disregard the importance of the passing pocket, stick out like sore thumbs. All these issues have been discussed ad nauseum but if we could at least get some lockable custom game play camera view options, I think the Users ability to exploit those issues would be inherently limited. Would be kind of hard to zig-zag all over the field or abandoned the passing pocket if you can't see the entire field.

Anyway, nice video man and this shows the reason I haven't yet tried to create a "sim" competitive circuit for Madden because the game still isn't fundamentally sound or customizable enough, imo. Maybe Madden 13.
