Who will you be in your Madden 13 franchise?

Dont sleep on Ridley and Vereen, in Madden 12, both end up being decent backs in a couple of seasons and I am sure it will be the same in 13. Vereen has a little better speed but Ridley is stronger and breaks tackles. I only used Woodhead on passing downs.

QB-Cam Newton
HB-DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart
FB-Mike Tolbert (former Chargers HB)
WR-Steve Smith, David Gettis, Brandon LaFell
TE-Greg Olsen, Gary Barnidge
OL-Jordan Gross, Ryan Kalil. Amini Silatolu (R), Jeff Otah

Cam explains himself, the receivers as a group are under-rated but Gettis IRL is said by his team-mates to be the fastest on the team (track star also at Baylor). And he has the speed to go over the top in Madden. LaFell becomes one of the best possession WR's in the game. Williams and Stewart have already made names for themselves, and with Tolbert as the FB with his speed, and pass catching he will provide some unexpected splash plays as most users forget to cover the FB. Olsen and Barnidge are both big pass catching TE's, and if TE's stay as effective as they are now, this will be a difficult 'stock' team to beat. The offensive line has two pro-bowlers who can pass protect, and two maulers in Otah, and Silatolu. And with all that said I haven't even talked about the...

Defense-

LB-Luke Kuechly (R), Jon Beason, James Anderson
DL-Charles Johnson, Greg Hardy, Terrell McClain, Ron Edwards
DB-Chris Gamble, Brandon Hogan, Captain Munnerlyn, Josh Norman
S-Charles Godfrey, Reggie Smith

The LB's will be IMO the best LB group on a 4-3 team, all with 85+ speed (assuming the ratings stay similar), they can all cover, and tackle and they're all young. Thomas Davis off the bench as a key back-up and you're deep. The DL has a stud in CJ, while the others compliment and defend the run pretty well. The secondary has a Revis esque DB in Chris Gamble but he's bigger, and all the other DB's have 90+ speed and can play man and zone with high catch ratings. At Safety Godfrey's high speed and zone will likely see him move to FS for me while I roll Smith down to the box at the SS spot.

All in all, I'm pretty excited to hit the virtual grid-iron, I play OLF, not offline. After the 1st draft class my team will be looking even better.

Will most definitely start out with my Buccaneers, can't wait to use the new additions.

Other than that? Maybe the Panthers for Cam or Vikes for Ponder... but I also like to participate in fantasy draft's and draft all the current FSU players and build my own team.

1 Washington- Mainly because of RGIII
2 Detroit- Megatron, stafford, and suh are fun to use
3 Seattle- Closest local team/ the unis are AMAZING!
4 Indianapolis- Build around Luck/ Fleener, uni's are classic
5 Denver- Trade up to get Barkley once I Import NCAA rosters, win a few SB's with Peyton to end his career a la John Elway
