For all the news JP posts, how is his overall only a 9? haha. Btw, I like seeing the evolution of Madden. The best years with most improvements: 2005, 2010, and 2012. Btw, I couldn't remember which year where they changed the camera view behind QB (2003?)

I think the biggest jump might have been between Madden 98 and Madden 99, considering they were on the same platforms.

they need to bring the cone back that would eliminate the running to one side throwing to the other side of the field players .... also they need to put every good thing about all the past games into the future games and stop adding things for 1 year just for them to disappear the next i loved the cone, i loved the fight for the fumble it was realistic, i loved the gang tackles, they need to fix these things rather then throwing them away ...

Graphically maybe, but I think 98 was better.

It's funny how much better the movement was back in the ps2 days.

The game was very fast but closer to real life, yet the movement truly was so much better somehow. But the fun I had with M10, I was just like..."FINALLY! A next gen Madden I can enjoy"...and then they messed with the Locomotion the following years...

Oh, that was painful to watch for the last 6 or so years. You just saw things that they added that didn't quite work, and rather than tweak it, they threw the baby out with the bath water.

Oh and the running animations regressing was hard.

All in all though it was a nice video to watch to see how we got to where we are today. Now if that video could capture all of Franchise mode, I think I'd be in tears at how far we've regressed in six or so years.
