It's basically using your smart device (phones, tablets, etc) to enhance whatever the Xbox is doing. I think in that instance it was using the device to control Madden.

That'll be awesome. I have an Apple iPad and I'll be able to use it with my Microsoft XBox 360? I've never created plays in Madden much, but now I just might.

On one hand I think they'd be crazy not to have support for Apple products, and on the other hand I think they'd hate to have devices of a direct competitor being used with their console.

They didn't really give a lot of details on it other than to say "smart devices", so we'll have to wait and see what is supported.

If you find a way to create a play in Madden 12 then please tell me how!

EA is not in direct competition with Apple -- (you were probably thinking about Microsoft). Madden has games already on the ipad and iphone as apps
