I often get the feeling these dev's just build Madden for themselves. So clueless to what people out there want IMO

Taking out NCAA Imported draft and also editing players during your ccm(franchise)? How could you not know people would explode? Where were these dev's all the years people complained and complained to get these features? Like they wouldn't miss them if they got yanked?

Crazy

@wheelman they started over because it was too muchwork to implement features for 3 seperate modes at the same time. so they combined them all into one. now adding a feature gives access to all 3 with less coding and design time. the features missing were not added into cc because they didn't have time to get them right, you know starting from scratch and all.

Man, you need to understand that people who do the editing and ncaa draft imports are always going to be a small minority compared to those who play for the new features such as physics and CC.. yes, it might seem like a lot on these forums, but there is a MUCH bigger majority off these forums that do no care about editing and many that do no care about the ncaa imports. So no, they do no care about a few thousand exploding when they still will sell TONS of copies..

then for what reason did the same developers fight so hard to get full player editing into the game last year? just for this alleged small group of us here on OS? don't think so.

For me, even with sports games, story elements will always enhance my game playing experience exponentially.

And I'm someone who isn't attached to or follow college ball at all. I didn't know who Willis or Vernon Davis were before they were 49ers.

Only once in a while will I have any idea who a college player is before the NFL draft, like Tebow who was all over the news all the time... or Megatron, cuz, well, he's Megatron.

Watching clips of him on ESPN, you knew he was going to be a game changer.

Lol, ovbiously if they fought so hard, it would be in this year. It shows it was not a BIG priority this year.

Because they ran out of time supposedly so they could add twitter feeds for people like yourself probably that get immersed in arcade style gaming instead of the actual sport...lol

right we already know it wasn't a priority this year that's not what's being discussed. The question is why was it a priority for them last year and not this year. And please don't act like they didn't fight to get in last year, because there's an enormous thread I can't point you to prove otherwise. We all understand it wasn't a priority this year nothing could be more evident at this point. the question is what changed for Josh where he went from being one of the main proponents of it to now dismissing it as fluff. whatever the reason it clearly has nothing to do with the "well it's just a few rabble rowsers on OS anyway so let's just ignore it" that you're claiming it is. And quite frankly it's extremely demeaning to us and the developers when people throw this theory out there
