I do not know for sure, but with this new CC mode I find it very doubtful you will be able to put the controller in the middle and let the cpu play it out.

Play now mode may still be available.

FIFA has been this way for years and it always bums me out. I've always wanted to run a manager mode without controlling the on the field action.

If there is no CPU vs. CPU option in CC, I hope there's at least a Coach Mode where you can call the plays and watch the CPU play them.

Full control for the user this year in madden is like finding big foot in your garage. So probably no CPU vs CPU

I could be wrong, but it probably does have coach mode as can't you be a coach in the game?
