question: I can only control one player?!

Ok, I'm quite sure this question has been asked and answered somewhere in all these threads and posts but unfortunately I don't have the patience to read through each one. However, Im a little confused on this "connected careers" thing. Let me see if I'm getting this right.........are they saying that in order for me to play an offline franchise style career I can only control ONE player or a coach as opposed to being able to control my whole team? PLEASE tell me I have this TOTALY misunderstood...........

If you're the coach you control the entire team ..

OK but is that limited to just calling plays and making coaching decisions or can I take control (play) the players on the field as well.........

You can play the team's games as you would have in typical franchise mode.
