I know it's not the OS Game of the Year or anything, but best at E3 is somewhat a big deal.

I for one think this could be the year Madden finally makes me not want to think about any other football game in the past.

What do you guys think?

Not trying to sound negative but what other sports game did it go against -- NBA Beats? lol

I didn't watch the whole thing but I thought EA was the only company with sports titles at E3.

Just like a NCAAF preseason #1 -- its a good thing that people recognize the potential but until you prove it we have to take it with a grain of salt.

Two more months -- two more long months

NBA 2k13, FIFA 13, NCAA FOOTBALL 13 and NHL 13.

Both Fifa and NHL are the usually winners in this category and we know how good those two games are.

So they talked about other games on June 4th? Interesting, lol.

Ehh, Fifa and NHL look amazing and I don't even like those games. Maybe thats some good news for Madden. I wonder what game was the last one to make it to #1.

This is a win by default. No other title is far along enough in development to seriously even be considered.

I initially found this post to be a compelling argument for why this award might carry some weight for Madden 13, until I read this one. lol

Stole my comment..... But I support this statement. The other titles were further back in development unlike M13. They were really the only sports title there.
