Will you be able to change a players position for CC13? I'm assuming not. And will you be able to play a player in a related position. Example would be to have a CB play FS or SS. Or even an OLB, play as a MLB. Or, my favorite, having SS's play as LB's. And if so....how much will it affect their ratings? Any insight?

I am aware that you can move players around in the packages, such as LB rush where the LB's become ends etc....

I hadn't thought of this before, and I have no idea if it's already been answered. But you're probably right. I doubt you'll be able to... and that really sucks.

I hope you can't, just because you plan on playing your SS at LB. That's big time cheese.

what if you just want to move a middle linebacker to the outside, or vice versa? What if you have a 3-4 defense, and you pick up a 4-3 DE and want to make him an outside linebacker?

Then do it on the depth chart.

How is that cheese? lots of SS from college turned into LB's when they came into the NFL.

You simply can't use "they do it in real life" when talking about a video game of Madden.
At least not yet......

If we can't edit positions I'm going to have a problem with players like Mario Williams. Last season he was a 3-4 OLB, and this season he will be a 4-3 DE.

If we can't tweak player positions it's going to be pointless to change defensive schemes during CC.
