Physics and Ratings"will this year matter"

I am wondering with the new physics engine they have put into madden, I think they said they overlaped it, Might be wrong. But do you think with physics now in there ratings will matter? To me every year it seems to me that every player plays pretty much the same except a few QB. A few RBs that play a lil different cause of speed but otherwise it feels like every player at there position no matter who it is will play the same. So Im wondering with the new physics will players finally play different from one another not so much like robots. Maybe Im way off but thats how I feel with madden now days. I could have Ed reed for a saftey but Jim leanord will play just the same.........

That's my guess, ratings never have and seemingly never will matter. Play on All Madden against the CPU, and Jason Campbell will turn into Tom Brady at the drop of a hat...and it will always be like that.

well considering its physics based, weight and speed will definitely matter. F=MA.

I guess I should have explained myself better or in a different way. Remember when playing 2k you would pick a player cause you knew what to expect out of him, you wanted a great rusher you would get strahan, a power running back you would get a guy like pittman if you wanted finesse L.T to make the cuts. Dont get mad that im talking about 2k cause I am just trying to prove my point on how certain players,positions,type of player mattered and worked well.
So I am hoping with the physics engine it will give guys more flexibility to make better moves and to be more fluid I guess.

Will ratings matter? Sure. But it won't be enough.
