Are game plan strategies back in M13?

Are the game plan strategies back, where you can tell your defense to play zones shorter or deeper, strip or wrap up, etc? I saw they put the run commit gimmick back, so I assumed this would be too?

I'm sure a lot of people will be running the option with Vick/Newton... it would be nice to tell the D whether to play the QB or pitch man..

I hope it's in there but not getting my hopes up. I'd love to have the ability to set my tempo.

I'd love to see this and the Player-Lock camera in the game, but I already know the camera is a no-go (been in NCAA since 10, not sure why it never made it over to Madden) and I have my doubts that the strategies will be there.

Back? When did Madden ever have the gameplan options as the OP described them? They were always an NCAA thing from my observations.

Yep, Madden has never had them in my experience and I've been playing since Madden 98.

I honestly wish they wouldn't have brought run commit back, its about as unrealistic in its implementation as you can get but nothing I can do about it.

Hate to sound like a broken record but last gen had it, it told you what plays you opponent ran the most what play you ran the most and the success rate it was very comprehensive, it would prepare you like a real game I would usually on check it for playoff games or tougher matchups. I know Madden 06-11 had in last gen it was probably on the earlier games too. I don't think we will ever see anything like it again.
