How many players can you creat in Madden '09 for original Xbox?

I've looked all over the internet and can't find an answer. Anyone know how many players you can create in Madden 2009 or 2004 for original xbox? Is there even a limit? I dont want to start creating players just to relize I wont be able to finish a team or roster. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I think it is around 32 players, but there was a way around the limitations. It had something to do with the export team option.

I just had someone tell me in the Madden Forums that there is no limit. Just up until you fill rosters and free agency. Any truth to this?
