Defensive tackle before the snap, end or linebacker immediately after during a run, DB if pass. I always start out with defensive tackle to either A: attempt to collapse the pocket in the middle to force the QB to roll out and pretty much take one side of the field away from him, and B: read which direction the run is going to after the snap and try to flow accordingly. I get burned by counters if I don't react quick enough, though.

Depends on scenario... I like controlling linebackers and DLINE though. Safety as well.

95% FS but occasionally I’ll move to the MLB but only to spy…

By default I start with the middle linebacker. I love reading keys and blowing up running plays.

If I have someone blitzing I'll take them over a lot of times to make sure they get a quality rush.

The other exception is that I don't like controlling defenders in pass coverage. The instant I read pass I switch to a lineman. I'm pretty bad on the sticks witih coverage guys so I just try to take over a lineman and get a good rush at that point.

I play my FS most of the time, This gets people to test my user skills on the deep ball and most of the time always results in INTs.But if i have a runheavy opponent ill switch to my MLB

Depends on the defense I'm running.

If it's something normal like a Cover Two or Cover Three (or anything based off of those two defenses), I'll just control my best defensive end and try to generate a rush.

Should I be in a Cover One or Cover Zero man coverage defense, I'll control whoever has the worst matchup (usually my safety/linebacker on a tight end, stopping crossing routes and the like).

If I'm in Cover Four, I'll control whichever safety is weaker in coverage, knowing that I can gamble a bit with three other defenders deep.
