What position do you user control on defense?

What position does everyone like to control on defense? Why? And does anyone control different people bases on if they are playing a user or the cpu?

I usually control a DE or DT to try and create somewhat of a pass rush on my own. Sometimes I will control a blitzing LB or when I pick a cover one play and a LB has that short middle zone I will use him.

Yeah I'm pretty much the same way you are. Always use an end never DT's and try to force a nice rush. Occasionally I use a blitzing line backer but usually I'm coming around the corner going for the QB's neck with JPP

I always used to play as the FS. I was a ballhawk with Brian Dawkins back in the day...

In the couple years I've been using MLB 95% of the time. It makes a huge difference in filling gaps to stop the run. In my Madden 12 leagues I always ranked in the top 5 in rushing defense.

If you are good with it you can also take away the entire middle of the field on passing plays. I've gotten a lot better with it, but still need to improve some more in M13. I want that top 10 passing defense to get into the top 5 with my rushing d

DT or DE for me always...except for a hail mary to win the game situation. I'm a pass rush guy for the most part.

Split time equally between mlb lolb and my lowest rated safety

DT or DE i like being close to the qb and wreaking havoc.

Typically the MLB. I like patrolling the middle of the field. In certain scenarios like 3rd and longs, I'll take control of one of my safeties and roam center field.

I used to control the D-line with Freeney and Mathis all day, but with the switch to 3-4 Defense, I'll be learning to control the LB more.
