Easy, resurrecting is having someone comeback from the dead or to reinstate something that once was but had been stopped or has ended. Randy Moss had an awful 2011 and didn't play last year. His career looked over. Now I'm going to "resurrect" his career by trying to make him an All-Pro again.

I guess you can call it a comeback. We're just playing with semantics though.
