Is it true you can't edit jersey numbers in CCM?

I know that ratings etc can't be changed in CCM, but what about jersey numbers? I hated last year when you drafted somebody or traded for a player and they had the same number as somebody else on your team you would have 2 of that number. I am speaking for Online Dynasty last year that happened at least and I'd always change the numbers.

I understand how changing ratings or equipment could negatively affect the game/mode, but I don't see how changing somebodies number could have any alternate effects on it.

I've seen people saying you can't change them on here, but can anyone link directly to EA saying that you specifically can't change #'s?

Yeah, I've never even heard of changing jersey numbers in CCM.

Its been said multiple times that you can't edit numbers. Especially in the large CC thread. No editing at all

I've never seen anything from EA saying you for sure couldn't. I'm just asking for a link.

I'm not EA, but I have played Madden NFL 13 at Community Events and you can't edit jersey numbers in CCM.
