Has the demo changed your mind about buying Madden 13?

Great Demo solidified the purchase for me. The Infinity Engine brings a new, fresh feeling to the game. The upgraded audio is over the top.

I am really excited for this one... Even got a pre-order!

Demo made me renew my season pass. Season pass will dictate my decision to buy. Love the game on the field this year after being extremely critical of ea in the past. CCM and the cpu gm ai will be the determining factor if I pre-order or just wait for a price drop.

The demo has sent me from strongly leaning "buy", to "on the fence". I need to see what problems the development team see and are looking to fix in the retail before I make a decision, because I was disappointed with what I saw in the demo.

Don't get me wrong, it's a solid overall package, but there were some gameplay things in Madden 12 that really turned me off; things I was looking to see corrected in Madden 13. And those things are still there in the demo, so it could go either way with me at this point.

Was on the fence prior, especially with how I ended up skipping NCAA this year, but after playing the demo - I am off of it and will wait til next year. At best, I will await release, then review the OS bugs and glitches thread - then wait for the patches to come thru - then only then re-consider buying this year. (By then NBA2k will be out and I will have long lost the desire to play it in the first place )

Just curious...

Did any of you play the demo with slider adjustments? Reason I ask... It is my opinion without slider adjustments, the demo plays horribly.

I feel for the guys that chose to play at default skill levels and made their decision based off of that experience.

The demo is great! WITH SLIDER ADJUSTMENTS!

Agh, I hate that we always have to adjust sliders to make the game playable.

Well Hell Straw! I know you have been around long enough to know that the game out of the box is tuned for online play.

If you don't adjust the sliders, there is no way you will get an experience close to sim.

Listen, I am not trying to market my sliders, but go to my Madden 12 thread and quickly input the sliders as they appear with the one pass rush demo tweak. You will get a better experience... trust me.

They aren't perfect but they provide a great game for this demo. I even plan to use them as a base for my 13 set.
