What is speed threshold?

I'm interested in seeing other responses but my impression has been that it is the "minimum" speed a player can have. So if you have a lineman that is speed 30 but your threshold is 50, his speed changes to 50.

I think it separates the slower players from the faster player..

When speed threshold is set to a lower number, you'll see a bigger difference between fast and slow players.

Which is why you'll see some OS users (like me) who set speed threshold to zero. Then you won't have linemen with 75 speed catching Devin Hester on a breakaway

so setting it lower makes things more realistic? I always set it to 25 but didn't notice a difference?

I've never adjusted this slider. Does this make kick/punt returns more realistic? I hate it when my really fast return guy can't outrun slower defenders even if the defender takes a bad angle.
