Ok where/what mode are these legends I keep seeing screens of?

I do recall that in HUT you could play games offline vs the cpu if you wanted.
Hopefully that is the case in MUT. I dont want to be stuck having to play online to advance my team. Too many shenanigans. If I could find some folks to play that have the sim mindset that I do it would be different.

I'm getting mixed signals. I realize Legends are in Ultimate Team mode... but it looks like you can choose a Legend for your CCM. My question would be can you choose as many Legends as you want to put in the game at the same time OR is it like Heisman Mode in NCAA this year where you play as Barry Sanders or RG3 but there are no options to put them on a team together?

The only legend in the game at any given time is those controlled by a player, unless you are playing Madden Ultimate Team.
