I know a lot of people have wanted this feature back for a long time, but Madden still hasn't brought it back yet. I am hoping next year that will bring this feature back. Things can happen and it sucks to lose the whole game say for an emergency and you can't finish. Hoping EA will make this happen for Madden 14.

Man I really wish they would have the option. Considering the 'funner' gameplay this year, this would have put me over the edge to get it.

Instead, I'll just play something else until I get an extremely cheap used copy.
