Even if we assume he was rated say, 89 OVR, in their system there's no way you trade the 2nd overall pick for that player. RG3 or not, it will not happen in 1 million years. You can't even argue it. Maybe you can argue the bottom of 1st round (I doubt it, but it's more reasonable), but the a top 10 pick is not even close. I mean the guy's 29, it's not like he's a 24 year old stud.

Re: Trade Logic Broken?

it has improved. they have made it pretty hard to trade for top end players. I do think there is something to be said about offering fair trades to the cpu. I never offer something that I feel in the real world the press would say "obviously they have something on the other team and are using it to make the most unfair trade in recent memory" player for player trades are pretty rare, player for top pick without swap, also rare. maybe the game had it thinking it was a pick swap with the DT.

Wow you can pause the draft, exit, and it's still paused!

Good job, EA!

One thing that works well for online franchises is having all trades approved by the commish like you would do for a ff league.

For online franchises with logic like that your only recourse is to make offers where you overcompensate the cpu. If you struggle with what is fair maybe we could have a stickied thread here where people throw in their offers and let the community throw in their 2 cents. Or....a patch would be nice.

It's only one trade so far too early to jump to conclusions.

One trade sure, but it was one extremely bad trade.

Re: Trade Logic Broken?

The term "broken" is thrown around way too often imo.
