Rookie QB in Career Mode

Has anyone made a QB yet if so have you had any gametime? I made a qb for the Cowboys and obviously Romo is the starter and Orton is the backup any ideas on how to get some gametime Its week 4 in the regular season and I have yet to get on the field even through preseason I think I held the ball for a kick one time I have been doing the practices and gaining XP I just dont see how I will get game time unless I sim through the first year or two...Thanks and I am new to this site and enjoy reading good info on here

I made a high draft pick QB for the Cardinals and I'm starting.

You have to get a better rating than them. The ratings start out pretty high for your rookie, so just upgrade awareness or something.

hmm I did low draft pick.. should I try my luck with a team that doesnt have a decent starter and change it high draft? I could see the game retiring romo in 2 years then getting my chance or having him and orton injured

So basically alot of grinding out in the practices so I can upgrade and push past those two?

An ******** sea urchin could get the starter's job at Arizona. Niners, Jets, Dolphins, Bucs, Vikings, Jaguars and Browns are also relatively weak in the QB area.

Have any of you guys made players that automatically started?,I made an undrafted qb and was starting over Rodgers then an undrafted rb and started over MJD! There must be something I'm doing wrong.

It's obvious, you're a better fit for the Green Bay system than Rodgers.
