Franchise?

Im sure this has been answered but I did a search and all I could come up with was Madden 12 stuff. All I want to know is if there is a "Franchise" like we have come to play in Madden? Its really the only thing I play Madden for. I think I know that I cannot edit players in this years game and take them into a Franchise which is a huge issue for me. I have a big problem with Miami Dolphins' players wearing all black with that color pallet. I always change it, which I'm guessing I can't do this year. Thanks for the answers.

no. the new "franchise" is connected careers

you can be a coach of a team, and its much like a 1 user control franchise of old just with new features and such. you can switch from real coach to real coach and not have to retire them and can make changes on teams, but there is no editing, so that customization you seem to be talking about is not there

that said, im a HC 09 fan, so this is all like a huge big madden wet dream if they fix the issues.

Before this thread gets deleted I'd like to add how much I already miss offline franchise.

All the issues with CCM is momentarily making me walk away from Madden.

So if we pick our favorite coach or player from our favorite team, it is "like" the old franchise mode? Total control of team like depth chart, free agents, draft, etc?

Because I was was trying to start a franchise today and could't find it lol!

So if you start one as a coach, can you still put a legend on your team? And if so, can you do this online?

No. Legends will only be controlled by other users. If a legend retires at any point, the likeness is removed from the league.
