CCM Question re: EA Official Downloaded Roster Update not allowed?

OK, so get this... I deleted the Offline CCM I was using from the season ticket mode with the default rosters the game shipped with... As soon as I re-loaded up Madden this time, it prompted me to get the roster update for Career mode.

Wow, so apparently... if you start an offline CCM with one versoin of the roster, you can't start another CCM using a later version, all CCM's must use the same roster??? At least that's how it appears!

I have no idea if that's the case. I could have sworn that I had an offline career with both rosters up, but I'm not sure.

Im going to try again now, I'm loading the old CCM back from the USB stick I saved it to prior to deleting it, I'm going to save it back to the HD, then try and start a new career again and see which rosters I get.

im having the same issue. this is just stupid. all i want to do is start a career with the updated roster and i cant figure it out. its like they made things more difficult with this stupid CCM crap.

i didnt have anything started. i deleted everything and tried again, then ea servers wouldnt work for me to get the prompt for the ccm roster...

so what your saying is, when you get that prompt for the ccm roster and go to play an offline ccm, it should be the same as that updated roster which you can download from the gridiron section but can only use in play now? this whole thing is *** bacwkards.
