I choose what to begin?

I normally play offline franchise. I will generally play the Seahawks game each week, along with 2 or 3 more games on the schedule each week. I like a variety if you will. I will then play out the entire season to the playoffs; then play all of the games in the playoffs until a team wins the Super Bowl.

So - with connected careers, what mode do I choose to try to replicate this in Madden 13?

Yeah, that's not possible anymore. If you pick coach mode you can play the Seahawks season but not every game in the playoffs.
