How do you properly count total number of plays?

Trying to find the right amount of minutes I should play...and average is about 60-65 plays per team, correct? Thanks!

Last madden, i was using 11 minutes quarter + accelerated clock to 15 seconds to get around 60 plays / game.

I'm using 15 min quarters with 15 second run off. I average 60 -65 plays and my stats are right on. I try to play as sim as possible though.

There should be anywhere from 120-130 plays per game for both teams combined. These include (I believe) passing attempts, sacks, rushing attempts, punts, and field goals.

That would be per game, for both teams combined, not per team.

In the NFL, its around 120 plays total. Plays are Passes, Rushes, and Sacks.
