QB lead pass

Is this working properly for you? I'm still having trouble lobbing it over defenders and leading receivers, but I don't know if I'm just rusty and need to practice or not. I'm playing on all madden and defenders still react ridiculously. Romo likes to throw it to them apparently.

Dropped passes is whats killing me more. Seems like leading the reciever isnt your problem but holding the reciever button down too long is. Probably why you cant lob over over the defenders

I like to quick drop and pass and if witten gets a step on the defender romo just throws it right to the defender.. I agree on dropped passes as well. Same situation on quick passes.

Lead passing is working great for me after a bit of practice. I still get the occasional crazy leaping interception from a linebacker, but overall the throwing game is much more realistic.

I play differently than most people i see. Grew up watching aikman and emmitt smith i'm all about timing, knowing what route is going to be run and threading the needle. rely heavily on the running game just hitting the hole and don't dance around too much. Don't pass deep too much or move around in the pocket. Throw to the backs and te and then hit receivers on timing routes for big gains. It's really difficult to employ this strategy in this game so far. I'm not really seeing cheese. It's just really hard to direct the pass to the spot i want. I've always played madden this way.

It seems like it would be good this year. Defenders dont morph or slide over unrealistically.

I think it has something to do with how i'm pressing the buttons or something. But I really want to be able to direct passes with pinpoint accuracy. I know this was a feature they added I just haven't figured it out too well?

qb's can be really not accurate.
