Question about offline Connected Careers

I am currently in an online connected career with the Jets and last night I got disconnected 2 times and my game/stats didnt count when I was done. I wasnt sure if it was EA or my comcast modem but was wondering if I could still control my team (cuts/signings/trades) from maddencareers.com the same way I can do with my online connected career if I started an offline career.

I don't think it will work. In order to resume your online career you need to be connected to EA's servers. I will stick with online since i am enjoying it. Just hated wasting 2 games for nothing because they didnt count. Worth noting is the fact that when i was disconnected, I was still able to play the complete game but once i exited the game I was brought back to the madden 13 main menu. Once i reconnected, i still have to complete the task of playing the game. No biggie. I'll live with it

You have to be connected online to play an online series. I turned off my modem and tried to log in to my online cc and it wouldn't let me.
