Is there any news about if there will be an update to put offline co-op into Franchise/CC?

I doubt it will be added this year. Everything I have read on this forum (search function) says that they didn't have enough time to address co-op play.

In my experience with the game, it's probably because they know sliders break co-op gameplay. My friend and I tried every year for the past five years to come up with good co-op offline sliders and we could never do it.

Two humans teaming together to play are just too much for any CPU team regardless of difficulty because of the freedom in route running at the receiver position and amount of pressure that they can get defensively.

That's just my two cents. I think co-op offline probably won't even be in 2014, that's just my take though. EA doesn't care about it anymore.
