Confused about some things...

So I'm playing my connected careers with the Colts as a created coach. So under my progression my schemes are listed as
Offense: West Coast
Defense: Spread

But when I go to strategy and schemes it says that for instance my QB is Pocket Passer preference. Also at the top of this screen it says:
Offense: Balanced Offense
Defense: Hybrid Multiple Front.

Can I change either of these?

Is there any way to change my schemes under my progression?

I still have Andrew Luck as QB and he's only gone from a 79 overall from his first year to his now 84 overall
