Eli isn't elite. Stafford isn't YET either. Need more than 1 season to make a judgement.

There are only 4 elite QBs in football. I named them before...

Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers
Tom Brady - New England Patriots
Drew Brees - New Orleans Saints
Peyton Manning - Denver Broncos

Those are the elite.

I may regret getting involved in this, but I honestly don't think Stafford is elite yet, or next in line for elite "status". There are some guys I'd have over Stafford for being first in line for elite status. Yes they might not have gotten 5000 yards, but stats don't tell the whole story for a quarterback.

41 touchdowns? tied for 7th all time td's in a season isn't elite? has eli even come close to that? tell me those qb's next in line you think are better than stafford that did that

You must of missed where I said that stats don't tell the whole story. Yes 41 TD's and 5k yards are great numbers but he's done it for only one season. And when did I say Eli is better than Stafford?

well those stats tell a lot more of a story, than people claiming eli is better than his stats say he is, if eli was so good at everything people claim he is, he would beat stafford one of his all time record placements, eli is at the beginning of the back-end of his career, stafford is just getting started

Take out one of the best receivers in recent history and tell me how Stafford does?

He is an upper middle quarterback, he is benefitted from having a guy that you literally only need to throw it within ten yards of the guy and he has a reasonable shot of pulling it down. Simply taking out CJ's numbers puts him around 20th in the NFL last season, even accounting for an average receiver filling in his spot he might jump up to 12-15.

Calvin Johnson makes that offense, Stafford is an above average game manager.
