Online Skill Level Drop

Apparntly your skill level can drop in Madden 13 which I didn't know. I just played a game which I lost and before that my skill level was 551 lvl 2, now its 539 lvl 1. Has Madden always had skill level drop? I ask because this is the first time I have noticed my skill level dropping ever. Madden 09-lvl 11, Madden 10-lvl 5 or 6, Madden 11- lvl 6 or 7, Madden 12- lvl 8 or 9, so obviously I wouldnt have been affected by skill level drop in those games, cause I won more than I lost. But if this is the first time they are doing the skill level drop, Its gonna be alot harder to level up now, especially if your someone who steadily wins one, loses one constantly.

No. I believe it is new this year in effort to match people up so that it is a better game.

Why would you assume your skill level stays the same and continues to creep higher regardless of win/loss record?

Because I never noticed it in the past Maddens, thats why.
