I'm confused:

Some of you are saying you scouted player x and his OVR was 86 then at the end of the season it was 67 or his Speed was 80 but at the end of the season it was 94.

So when we pay to unlock a rating in week 1 or 2 it can change by seasons end? Do we need to pay again to scout that rating or does it simply change on the scouting menu and we have to go back and look?

It will automatically update after you scout them.

Thanks for the info. I have only started to play around with CCM, I am waiting for the opening day rosters before I get serious.

So how often does it update? Weekly or just at the end of the season?

Usually it only updates every four weeks or so, and only for storyline players. The non-storyline players stay the same.

You can also (and I'd argue should also) save your scouting points till the end of the season. That way you don't waste points on a storyline player just to read in week 10 that he broke his leg.

I do for the most part but sometimes I get to excited from the hype. I love this part of the game it makes it seem like these are real college guys going through your season simultaneously. It's so fricken cool! I just hate the glitch where black guys have white profile pics. That needs to be fixed ASAP!
