its too bad on true broadcast......

its too bad on true broadcast you cant see further up the field for passing and you just have to hope the WR is open. What is the best way to figure out if he is open or not? This is my fave camera angle but it sucks for passing deep. i wish they would bold the icon or something if the WR was open or not so we could tell

Re: its too bad on true broadcast......

I am a full time broadcast user and take it from me:

On offense, just look at how the dbs/lbs are aligned. 3 common ways dbs play are 1) Bump and Run 2) Man and 3) zone cover. Clearly if you don't know how to play off those, you have no business using broadcast cam.

Look how the safeties are playing. Are they aligned with the LBs or the DBs? If they are aligned with the DBs, most likely they are playing zone. Again, play off this scheme.

You can also tell if the LBs are playing man, blitz or zone.

It's just the matter of identifying and making the correct reads.

Trust me, I play on broadcast cam way better than I would on standard.

I've never even attempted to play full broadcast, but I think it'd be cool and playable if they had a grid of the whole field in the bottom left corner like they do in fifa so we could see where the receivers are in respect to where the DBs are.

Thanks for the tip, I just wish they had passing windows like they did back on the old Genesis days.

Too late for this now, but (on the PS3 at least) I think it would be awesome if they could make it so the in-game camera could be controlled by the videogame controller (six axis).

That would open up a world of possibilities.
