Madden NFL 13 Replays

Is it just me or are the replays in this game very bad? Do you think EA will patch the replay system?

Are xbox360's without hard drives have limited replays I feel like mine can only show me a few seconds of the end of any replay, from the game or if i go into instant replay.

If this is the case, memory cards wouldnt solve this?

Replays are the worst I have seen in any sports game.

All I want to do is see my play in its entirety. I don't want the cinematic crap, nor do I want the camera chopping and changing every few seconds.

But more importantly, how the hell can EA have released a game with such limited replay length? I made two extremely memorable plays this week that were some of the best I have executed in Madden.

1) A 99yd interception TD return
2) A 96yd wildcat TD run to the outside

Both of these "replays" started when the player was on the 50 yard line running to the endzone. I was not able to see the play develop, not able to see the positioning of my players and not able to see the joy in calling a perfect play at the right time.

It really leaves a bitter taste in an otherwise great game.

Yeah, the replays do indeed suck.

Yeah, they try to emulate the NFL Film style. They should just replay it like broadcast cam style. We don't need all that fancy crap. Besides, those closeups are just horrendous. Throwing motion, graphics, etc.

Your confusing storage with memory.

hard drive and memory card or configured flash drive= storage

The replay length during game has little to do with memory, and even less to do with storage. The replays are short because that's the way they designed it.

And no a memory card can't solve the problem unless the problem was not enough storage space to save a replay.

You do know that you can use an external usb hard drive for storage right (install games and saves)? I've seen you or someone else mention it before.

They can fix it, the issue is will they. The last time they had a replay issue, they really didn't fix it.
